Colbert welcomes Mitt Romney in new Late Show teaser

CBS’ new Late Show host is proving he wont shy away from skewering politics.  Stephen Colbert is gearing up to take over the Late Show in September and this week the former Comedy Central host released three new teasers.  In one clip, Colbert is joined by the man who lost the 2012 presidential election, Mitt Romney.

Colbert talks tells viewers he “can’t wait” to start hosting the show and how he’ll “talk about the news, tell jokes and have fascinating conversations with celebrities, athletes, musicians and, of course, politicians.”

For his part, Romney demands the pancakes he had been seemingly promised.

In another clip Colbert tries his hand at a card trick and then shows off his back-to-school backpack and Charlie Rose Trapper Keeper.
