MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Broadway's given life to the quirky characters of the whodunit board game, Clue. This week, they're here in Milwaukee and among the case is a Wisconsin-born actress.

Tari Kelly describes herself as animated and fun, totally opposite of Mrs. White, her character in the stage play, "Clue."

"She's very serious, and very, very, very much maybe a killer," Kelly said.

The show, like the board game, revolves around murder but the show you'll see at the Marcus Center for Performing Arts does it with humor.

"It keeps moving and it keeps you guessing," said Kelly.

Kelly grew up in Madison and knew from a young age this was her path.

"In the beginning of your career just saying yes to everything. When you're older you can get a little pickier once you've built your resume and worked a lot of places," Kelly said.

Kelly has performed on Broadway with Billy Crystal in "Mr. Saturday Night," and her acting career spans over 20 years.

"We're just all working together to give this wonderful, fun time the audience, you know, I just love that camaraderie," said Kelly.

Their camaraderie's been evident off stage too here in Milwaukee.

"The food," Kelly said. "People have already gone out for German food, that's always fun, cheese curds. Everyone always loves a cheese curd."

"Clue" is touring the country this year. Milwaukee's been their third stop.

The show runs through Sunday, March 17. Tickets are available here or at the box office.
