City of West Allis to reveal new logo, branding of the city

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The City of West Allis will debut their new logo and branding this weekend.

The public is invited to the event which will happen Saturday, October 13 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the West Allis Farmers Market which is located at 6501 W. National Avenue.

The new brand supports the first goal of the City’s Five Year Strategic Plan, “Brand/Image/Destination,” an opportunity for the city to promote itself as the preferred municipality in the Milwaukee metropolitan area, the state, and the country for businesses, residents, and visitors.

T-shirts with the new logo will be given away at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to the first 100 people in line. There will also be prize drawings for merchandise with the new brand. 

"The brand has been nine months in the making, and we thank the many residents, business owners, organizational partners, and city staff and officials who shared their insights during this process," the City of West Allis said in a release.
