Many dread having to open theirs in the mail, but a CBS 58 News viewer wanted to know why he didn't get his City of Milwaukee property tax bill in the mail yet?
We checked.
Deputy Treasurer Jim Klajbor assured CBS 58's Michele McCormack that the bills went out as required on the 18th.
He says folks could start getting theirs as early as today, Monday at the latest.
The city did change the system to collect electronically.
That should be up and running by Tuesday afternoon.
The timing is crucial given that, for man, this is their major tax deduction of the year.
