MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Monday marked the start of Wisconsin Bike Week.
Members of Milwaukee's Common Council participated in three separate bike rides from different areas of the city. They met at Red Arrow Park in downtown Milwaukee.
Alderman Nik Kovac says biking is a fast and convenient way to get around town.
"The ride to downtown from anywhere in the city is almost always downhill because it's where the rivers meet. So, the ride in is nice, you show up refreshed, then you sweat and look like a mess on your way home but that's okay because you're just on your way home," said Ald. Nik Kovac.
