City creates 75 more transitional job openings

MILWAUKEE -- In April, the City of Milwaukee hired 25 new employees to help fix potholes. Now, the city is looking to hire 75 more people to fill newly created transitional job openings.


Transitional jobs participants who gain employment with the City of Milwaukee will have the opportunity to work for any of eight city department including water, sanitation, electrical, sewers, parking, fleet services and forestry. The 75 transitional jobs positions pay $10.10 an hour.


The city is holding an informational session on June 6 from 2:00 p.m - 3:30 p.m. at MAWIB, 2342 N. 27th St., Milwaukee, WI 53210.
