Christkindlmarket Chicago returns to in-person event in 2021 🎅

CHICAGO, Ill. (CBS 58) -- After a year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Christkindlmarket Chicago will be back in-person as well as online in 2021. 

Christkindlmarket unites German and European tradition with international flair and local charm. Inspired by the 16th century Christkindlesmarkt in Nuremberg, Germany, one of the first outdoor markets of its kind, the Christkindlmarket is well-known for its vendors’ high quality gifts and food, holiday cheer, and for being the ideal place for families to make unique memories.

It's the 25th anniversary for the event.

Christkindlmarket Chicago (November 19 – December 24)

Regular Hours:
Sunday – Thursday: 11am – 8 pm
Friday – Saturday: 11am – 10pm
Special Hours:
Thanksgiving (Nov. 25), Christmas Eve (Dec. 24): 11am – 4pm

Sunday: 11am – 7pm

Thanksgiving (Nov. 25), Christmas Eve (Dec. 24) and New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31): 11am – 4pm
