Children's Wisconsin ranked among best children's hospitals in the country

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Another year in a row, Children's Wisconsin has been ranked among the best pediatric hospitals in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report's annual list.

The 15th annual Best Children’s Hospitals rankings recognize the top pediatric facilities across the United States.

The new list was shared Tuesday, June 15, and places the Wauwatosa-based hospital among the best in six specific categories:

  • Cancer
  • Cardiology and Heart Surgery
  • Gastroenterology and GI Surgery
  • Neurology and Neurosurgery
  • Orthopedics
  • Pulmonology
“At Children’s Wisconsin, we have built one of the most prestigious pediatric hospitals in the country and continue to provide an unmatched depth and breadth of care in our state,” said Mike Gutzeit, MD, chief medical officer at Children’s Wisconsin. “We could not do what we do without all of our dedicated, talented providers and staff, and the support of the community. All of Wisconsin should be proud to have access to some of the best pediatric care in the country.”
