Child taken to hospital after being hit by car near 27th and Burleigh

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Saturday evening just before 9:00 p.m. a call came in for a child pedestrian hit by a car near 27th and Burleigh in Milwaukee.
According to emergency officials the child was taken to Children's hospital. Original reports suggested the child was a 6-year-old girl but that information has not been confirmed by officials.
