Chase and Foot Pursuit Leads to Arrest

A robbery suspect was arrested and taken into custody after a car chase and foot pursuit in Milwaukee Thursday night.   According to the Milwaukee Police Department, around 7:45 PM, MPD officers saw a vehicle that had been used in an armed robbery in the area of N 10th and Center Streets.  When the officers tried to stop the car it sped away.   The officers pursued the vehicle until it stopped near N 10th and Cleveland.  The driver abandoned the vehicle.   After a short foot chase, officers were able to apprehend the suspect and take him into custody.
