A Milwaukee woman is facing charges tonight in connection with the shooting of an 8-year-old girl.
Luckily, that girl survived.
Taalya Kelly has been charged with First Degree Reckless Injury. She was in court on Tuesday and given a $1,000 bond. Police say the 8-year-old was standing outside of a home on 47th and Clarke when multiple shots were fired in the area.
Destiny was hit and taken to the hospital. A week later, Milwaukee Police dropped off a giant teddy bear to the girl.
We're told officials are still looking for a second shooter.
