Ceiling Collapses Injuring Man in Kenosha

At 2:00 PM this afternoon Kenosha Fire Department received a call about a roof collapse at the Parkview Terrace Apartments located in the 1800 block of 89th St in Kenosha.

When firefighters arrived they determined a ceiling had collapsed in a first floor apartment due to a water pipe break.

A 37-year-old male was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. The man was a guest of one of the residents and was injured when a six foot section of wet dry wall came down on top of him.

Due to the ceiling collapse, several apartments have been condemned and 11 people have been displaced.

The Red Cross is assisting the victims.
