MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A wrestling event featuring some very familiar names is getting geared up to raise funds for a local school in Kenosha.
"HORSEPOWER: A Mahone Middle School Fundraiser" is taking place on Friday, Mar. 10 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mahone Middle School.
CBS 58's own 'Iron' Mike Curkov is among the wrestlers involved in the event, but he spoke to 'The Punk Rock Prince' Jordan Kross outside of the ring on Thursday, Mar. 2 to discuss the event. Terri Huck, Principal of Mahone Middle School was also a part of the conversation.
Former WWE Superstar EC3 and former WWE Tag-Team Champion Doug Basham will also be in attendance, along with other SSW/sNs stars.
Kross offered a teaser of what wrestling fans can expect, saying, "Lots of great pro wrestling action. The kids are excited, I know. The fans are excited to come out."
After mentioning some of the big names taking place, such as Kal Herro and the Fanny Pack Kid, he summarized by saying, "I think everyone's in for some fun."
This charity fundraiser for the Mahone Middle School Mustangs is being organized by SSW/sNs and tickets are available for purchase on their website for $10 for general admission.
