MILWAUKEE (CBs 58) -- Joe Krauss of B93.3 joined us Friday, May 23 to preview several events taking place across the Milwaukee area over Memorial Day weekend.
The Milwaukee County Zoo has opened its 2025 Summer Exhibit, "Exploration Dinosaur," featuring life-sized animatronic dinosaurs including T. Rex and Triceratops. The exhibit also includes hands-on activity stations and fossil displays.
The Milwaukee Milkmen are hosting a four-game homestand at Franklin Field with themed events each day. Highlights include Builder Fest on Friday, a Medieval Game at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 34, Faith and Family Picnic Day on Sunday, May 25 at 1 p.m. and Military Appreciation Day Monday at 1 p.m.
Falls Memorial Fest runs Saturday through Monday at Village Park in Menomonee Falls. The free festival includes a 5K, three music stages, vendors, a car show, and children’s activities.
Several area Memorial Day parades take place Monday, May 26. Start times are 10 a.m. in Menomonee Falls, 10:30 a.m. in Elm Grove and 11 a.m. in Whitefish Bay. Krauss will appear at the Elm Grove parade.
The Milwaukee Brewers face the Boston Red Sox on Monday with a 1:10 p.m. first pitch. Military families are invited to attend, with features including $1 hot dogs, a Blackhawk helicopter flyover, a live eagle during the anthem and a ceremonial first pitch by Jordan Love.
