CBS 58's Feel Good Fridays: Celebrating Smokey Bear, Brewers bobbleheads and more

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The weekend is set to bring festivals, movies and sports to Milwaukee with several community events being set to hit the area. Joe Krauss of B93.3 joined us on Friday, Aug. 8 to preview some of the fun.

The Falls Kids Festival will take place Saturday, Aug. 9 from noon to 5 p.m. at Village Park in Menomonee Falls. Activities include bounce houses, fire truck tours, tote bags, performances, food trucks and a Children’s Entrepreneur Market.

Free outdoor movies include The Wild Robot at Village Park Pavilion in Elm Grove and Airplane! at Lake Park in Milwaukee, both Friday at 8:30 p.m. and Inside Out 2 at Konkel Park in Greenfield on Saturday at 8 p.m.

Hop Summer Nights runs Sunday, Aug. 10 from 4 to 6 p.m. in downtown Milwaukee, featuring free streetcar rides, Pete’s Pops and live jazz.

Smokey Bear’s 81st Birthday Celebration is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Havenwoods State Forest.

The Brewers host the Mets, with Cervaceros Night on Friday and a Christian Yelich bobblehead giveaway Saturday.
