Early voting begins in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It just wouldn't be the holiday season without caroling, and that's exactly what some people did in Milwaukee Friday.
Carolers sang down W. North Avenue for Business Improvement District 32's annual caroling event. They met at 24th Street for a little hot chocolate, then caroled their way east to 17th.
In addition to spreading Christmas cheer, carolers wanted to make sure people knew that the North Avenue-Fond Du Lac marketplace is still full of life.
"There's so much going on here and we want people to see that we are full of Christmas spirit," said Grants and Community Development VP John Jansen. "We want to show people that we are here. This is a wonderful community, this is a safe community and it's a friendly community and we want to bring some Christmas spirit to the north side."
Carolers were encouraged to bring their kids. This was the third year the caroling event took place.
