GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Thirty-three people were injured in a bus crash off of the freeway in Green Bay Sunday, March 22.
Officials say the bus crash happened around 2:30 p.m. on I-43 northbound and Webster.
A tour bus full of 54 passengers crashed exiting northbound I-43, crossing the roadway and went over an embankment.
The bus was coming from Chicago and heading to a casino in Michigan.
Passengers that needed medical attention were brought to area hospitals.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
The Wisconsin State Patrol is leading the investigation and are looking into possible mechanical issues and interviewing passengers and the driver.
