Carjacking Occurs in Shorewood Saturday Night

A carjacking occurred in Shorewood Saturday night in the area of 4400 block of N. Frederick Avenue.

According to Shorewood Police, on Saturday around 3:15 PM, Shorewood squads were dispatched to an armed robbery 4400 N. Frederick Ave.

The suspect approached the victim in the alley and displayed a handgun demanding the victim’s personal property.

The suspect also stole the victim’s vehicle and fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle prior to police arrival.

The suspect was described as a black male in his early 20’s, 5 feet tall and weighing 160-170 lbs.

He had a medium build, with two braids in the back of his head, wearing a black t-shirt and black pants.
