Cardinal Stritch University listed for sale at $24M

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- For sale: one university campus, 43 acres, with improvements. 

Asking price: $24 million. 

The land on which Cardinal Stritch University once stood is now officially for sale. 

The university is closing -- this spring graduation was the school's last.

But whoever buys the property, may have to wait a bit. An official closing date for the school hasn't been announced. 

Summer classes are being offered to help students who need to make new arrangements. 

On Friday, a Mass of thanksgiving will be held on campus at 1 p.m., and visitors will be allowed to visit places on the campus from 2-4:30 p.m.
