Car theft, break-ins reported in Whitefish Bay neighborhood

WHITEFISH BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Residents in the Whitefish Bay neighborhood may want to be on alert after reports of car break-ins and a stolen vehicle. 

Whitefish Bay police reported sometime between April 28 at 10 p.m., and April 29 at 7:30 a.m., an unlocked vehicle parked near Kent and Monrovia Avenue, with the keys inside, was stolen. 

Police say the previous night, April 27, a vehicle parked near Santa Monica Boulevard and Birch Avenue, had a window smashed and the ignition was tampered with. The same night, an unlocked vehicle parked near North Diversy Avenue and Birch Avenue was entered.
