Car Loses Control and Crashes During Chase in Kenosha, Racine Counties
According to the Kenosha County Sheriff they received word about a possible stolen vehicle traveling through their area. One deputy saw a report of the stolen vehicle traveling north on Interstate 94 in the northern section of Kenosha County and in the vicinity of Highway KR, a traffic stop on the vehicle was initiated and just into Racine County when the suspects decided to flee.
During pursuit, the vehicle lost control and crashed near Highway K in Racine County.
According to police, there were two occupants in the suspect vehicle, an adult driver and a juvenile passenger who were both taken to the hospital.
While the vehicle was losing control, it struck another vehicle. The driver of that vehicle is okay, but two dogs in the car at the time of the accident ran away. One of those dogs ran into oncoming traffic and was injured. The other dog is still missing and described as a blue and white Whippet
Officials are pursuing possible charges.
