Car Hits Police Car which Hits Ambulance

Milwaukee Police are investigating a personal injury accident that happened at 6th and McKinley Avenue on Thursday around 12:05 AM. A Milwaukee Police Squad was traveling with its lights and sirens activated, to an emergency call. 

A vehicle traveling in the area failed to yield to the squad and struck it causing it to collide with a private ambulance which was also driving in the area. Two officers were taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries as were the driver and passenger of the vehicle that initially struck the squad. 

The driver who failed to yield was issued a citation.
