Car crashes into apartment building in Fond du Lac

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Sunday morning around 8:40 Fond du Lac Fire Rescue responded to an apartment building on Whispering Springs Drive for a report of a car that crashed into a first floor apartment.
The car was resting inside the bedroom of a apartment unit on the first floor. The apartment was occupied at the time of the crash but the tenant wasn't injured.
The driver of the car was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
City workers with Building & Code responded and determined the first floor apartment and apartment above it were not habitable.
