Car crash kills 2 in Sheboygan

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin State Patrol is reporting that a car crash on Friday morning, Oct. 1, claimed the lives of two people near State Highway 23 at County Truck Highway TT in Sheboygan County.
Authorities say that an eastbound 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan collided with the trailer of a northbound tractor trailer.
Officials report that the 29-year-old driver and 48-year-old passenger of the Dodge vehicle sustained fatal injuries.
The State Patrol says that the 37-year-old driver of the tractor trailer unit was not injured.
An investigation of the crash will be handled by the Wisconsin State Patrol Technical Reconstruction Unit.
