Car chase herion

The Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office identified the alleged drug dealer police chased from Mequon into River Hills on May  as  23-year-old Larry Pettigrew.

The Ozaukee County Drug Task Force set up a sting operation where Pettigrew sold heroin to an undercover deputy in Mequon. When deputies attempted to arrest Pettigrew, he fled heading south on I-43.

Pettigrew crashed his vehicle on Good Hope Rd. near I-43. The sheriff's office says Pettigrew left his vehicle and ran into a wooded area. He eventually entered a River Hills home just off of Green Tree Rd.

We're told the River Hills homeowner confronted Pettigrew. Police eventually arrested Pettigrew and transported him to the Ozaukee County Jail.

Pettigrew is charged with four counts of Delivery of Heroin, Attempting to Elude an Officer, and Possession with Intent to Deliver. Pettigrew is being held on $75,000 cash bail.
