CBS 58 WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Just in time for the holidays, the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train landed in Wauwatosa Wednesday, Dec. 10, to the delight of families that rallied at the Harwood Avenue railway crossing to see the festive train in person.
While it's stop in Wauwatosa was brief, the event featured a free musical performance by the American Authors and Pynk Beard. They sang Christmas songs and hyped up the crowd with some of their popular hits.
Families and kids danced, met with Santa and drank hot chocolate while jamming out to the music.
Wauwatosa was the third stop in the trains route through Wisconsin, with it stopping in Sturtevant and Caledonia on Tuesday, Dec. 9.
From Wauwatosa it will move on to Hartland with it ending it's Wisconsin travel in La Crosse around 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 11, making a total of 13 stops in Wisconsin before moving on to other locations.
The host of the event, CPKC, donates to local food banks at each stop while bringing awareness to them. TOSA Cares Inc. was the featured food bank in the 2025 holiday train run. People are encouraged to donate showing their support. You can find the food bank's website here.
