Business owners worry construction will turn customers away

Major construction now under way on a busy stretch of South 27th in Milwaukee and some major concerns for businesses along that stretch.

\"It's going to change our business as traffic is slowing down and its going to be harder for our customers to come in and out of our business,\" said Roland Bloom, the cook manager at Ned's Pizza off of S. 27th street.

Bloom also worries about the delivery times for the pizza drivers.

Owner of Leno's Custard, Rob Schneider said it's all about the timing.

\"Our peak season is the summer months. We have to do most of our  business in about 4  months. So, if it has a negative impact on us then, it will hurt the year,\" said Schneider.

The project is expected to last up until November.
