Bus Union Makes New Demands

Fresh off agreeing to a new contract the Milwaukee County Transit Union is making new demands.  

Leaders with local 998 delivered signed letters from its members this morning to the county board asking supervisors to hold the transit system accountable for realistic running times, a positive work environment and employee support and retention plans.  

Union leaders say more than 125 transit employees walked away from their jobs this year over what they call unbearable working conditions.
