Bucks win home opener 93-81 behind Mayo's 25 points

Jabari Parker's home debut turned out to be a hit.

Parker scored 9 points in the opening quarter, and O.J. Mayo tallied 25 for the game, as the Bucks beat the Philadelphia 76ers 93-81 in the Bucks' home opener.

New coach Jason Kidd and the starting lineup were introduced to loud applause before the game, and the Bucks new owners addressed the crowd before the opening tipoff.

Brandon Knight scored 13 points and had 8 assists, while Larry Sanders chimed in with 8 points and 15 rebounds. Mayo hit the go-ahead three pointer early in the fourth quarter to give the Bucks the lead for good.

The Bucks play the Wizards in Washington Saturday night.
