MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The new Bucks arena is nearly 70% finished and on Friday, CBS 58 was able to get a sneak peek inside.
By the end of November, the structure is expected to be completely enclosed. On Friday, we got a look at the entrance where for the first time there will be a Bucks merchandise store open even when it’s not game day.
In the stadium, the electronic ribbon is installed and the seats are going in. Work on installing the scoreboard will begin within the next two weeks. We also got a look at one of the 34 suites, 30 of which have already been sold.
The Bucks president says they are paying attention to every detail.
“We care about this so much. It's kind of the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to kind of do something so special and so right, and we've got an unbelievable crew that is so particular to detail that understands what we're trying to create, that unless you're invested in it it's not going to be what you want it to be,” says Peter Feigin, Milwaukee Bucks President.
Construction will be finished in summer 2018, just ahead of the Bucks’ next season.
