MILWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Fresh off the team's game seven win, Milwaukee Bucks fans are hoping to keep the momentum going.
The team left Brooklyn and headed back to Milwaukee on Sunday, June 20. Fans greeted them with arms wide open.
Sandy Kosmowski, a Bucks fan from South Milwaukee, waited early in the morning to welcome the team home.
"That was a nail-biter," she said of the game.
Other fans told CBS 58 they were on their way back home to Iowa but decided to stay in Milwaukee and wait for the team to come home.
On Saturday night, fans in the Deer District created an energy unlike anything seen since before the pandemic.
Fans told CBS 58 their hearts were pounding as they watched the game, which went into overtime.
"It was a great win. It was a great atmosphere and we’re going to get a third round. We’re going to go to the finals," one fan said.
And the biggest question fans have now: Can the Bucks finish what they’ve started?
"I think they can do it," Kosmowski said.
Wednesday, June 23 will be the first game of the next series, and fans will likely pack the Deer District once again for the watch party.
