CBS 58

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It's been a rough year for Milwaukee Bucks Coach Doc Rivers, but he got some great personal news Tuesday.

Rivers has been chosen as one of this year's inductees into the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Rivers played in the NBA for more than a decade, but he'll enter the Hall of Fame for his accomplishments as a coach.

He's coached four NBA teams, including the Bucks. They've won more than 1,100 games total and he led the Boston Celtics to an NBA championship in 2008.

Rivers will be inducted in August.
