MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It has been one week since last weekend's outbreak of gun violence in Milwaukee's entertainment district.
The Milwaukee Bucks Chaplain -- Pastor Kenneth Lock -- along with local officials and community members -- held a citywide prayer in the Deer District.
Lock said he refuses to give up on Milwaukee and believes that the city can grow stronger through prayer.
"I believe in my city and I believe in the people that are standing here with me," said Lock. "Our community, our faith leaders, our city officials, these are people who love our city and are passionate about seeing change happen."
Lock hopes the prayer rally allows people across the state and country to see how much love the people of Milwaukee have for our city.
