Meet CBS 58’s Pet of the Week: Joey
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It's been more than a year since the Bucks opened the Cream City Cluckery in the Deer District.
It's been hugely popular, but that location is a takeout and delivery-only kitchen.
Thursday, Nov. 4, the Bucks celebrated the grand opening of the team's first brick and mortar location.
It's called The Cluckery, and you can find it at the Mequon Pavilions on Port Washington Road.
Menu items include crispy chicken tenders and chicken sandwiches, house-made sauces, mac and cheese, tater tots, honey butter biscuits and "ooey gooey butter cake."
Some Bucks officials were on hand, including Bucks president Peter Feigin, who did not spare any of the puns.
"This marks the Bucks' first brick and mortar chicken tender restaurant and it's truly 'impeckable,'" he said. "The idea in itself really 'beaked' my interest, so with the success of the Cream City Cluckery over the past few months, we wanted to 'eggspand' our business. While it would be a new venture, we didn't want to chicken out, and we worked around the 'cluck' to make it happen."
The new location offers in-restaurant seating, takeout and delivery service, and is open seven days a week from 11 a.m.- 9 p.m.
