iStock.com/Melissa Kopka OAK CREEK, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Oak Creek is another step closer to getting Wisconsin's first Buc-ee's gas station and convenience store.
The company has bought the land for Buc-ee's, paying $7.5 million for the site near 27th and Elm.
Plans for the travel center were approved last week by Oak Creek's planning commission. over the objections of some residents who live nearby.
It's targeted for completion in 2027.
