Bruce's HR gives Reds series over Brewers

CINCINNATI - Jay Bruce's eighth inning home run off Will Smith sealed a 4-2 win for the Reds, who took two of three games in the weekend series at Great American Ballpark.
Yovani Gallardo pitched well, allowing just two early runs before settling down. Rickie Weeks and Scooter Gennett drove in the only Brewers runs. The Brewers scored just 10 runs during the five game road trip, finishing with a 1-4 record.
The Brewers come back home Monday night to host the Phillies in game one of a seven game homestand.
