Brown Deer High School student allegedly stole teacher's car

A teacher at Brown Deer High School reported her car stolen, and later in the day a 15-year-old student was arrested for stealing the vehicle. 

Brown Deer Police Department reported a staff member, a 54 year old female resident, reported that her vehicle was stolen sometime during the day.

Surveillance footage showed a student, a 15 year old male resident, enter the victim’s 2017 Honda CRV and drive away at approximately 1:09 PM.

It was believed that the 15 year old also stole the keys to the vehicle from the female’s purse while it was out in her classroom.

According to police, the vehicle was entered as stolen and warrants were issued for the juvenile.

The male’s family later located him and the stolen vehicle in the City of Milwaukee.

The juvenile ran from them. The vehicle and the male were located by officers.

The vehicle was turned over to the owner and the male was arrested for Motor Vehicle Theft and Operating a Vehicle without Owner’s Consent. He was conveyed to the station, booked, and cited. A report was filed.
