5 teens charged after fire at former industrial building in Kenosha
BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Brookfield Police Department is currently investigating a bank robbery that happened at Byline Bank, located at 13925 W. North Avenue.
According to police, a suspect entered the bank around 2:21 p.m. on Thursday and handed the teller a note demanding money.
The suspect obtained an unknown amount of money and fled the scene.There was no weapon implied or displayed.
Police searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a male, approximately 28-32 years of age, unknown race, 6' tall, 140-146 pounds, dark complexion, and a slender athletic build. He was last seen wearing a grey golf style hat, grey zip up hooded sweatshirt, grey pants, and tan shoes.
