Brookfield East goes virtual through Friday after staff members test positive for COVID-19
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Brookfield East High School will transition to temporary virtual learning Monday, Oct. 19 through Friday, Oct. 23 due to several school staff members testing positive for coronavirus.
According to the Elmbrook Schools, there were also close contact quarantines late last week and over the weekend.
"As we transition the students and staff at Brookfield East to temporary virtual learning, we remain confident in our ability to provide quality learning experiences both in-person and virtually," Superintendent Mark Hansen said. "We continue to be amazed at the flexibility and adaptability of our students and staff as we navigate the impact of this virus each week."
