Brewers trade Jonathan Broxton to Cardinals

The Brewers made another trade this morning, sending pitcher Jonathan Broxton and cash considerations to the St. Louis Cardinals in exchange for outfielder Malik Collymore.
Collymore, 20, was a second baseman prior to 2015. Selected by the Cardinals in the 10th round of the 2013 First-Year Player Draft. He spent two seasons with the Rookie Gulf Coast League Cardinals and batted .308 with 2 HR and 37 RBI in 73 games.
31-year-old Broxton went 1-3 with a 5.55 ERA in 51 relief appearances for the Brewers over the span of the last two seasons. The Brewers acquired him last August from the Cincinnati Reds.
