Brewers struggle defensively in loss to Dodgers

Matt Garza gave up five runs - just one earned - in his spring debut as the Brewers lost 10-1 to the Los Angeles Dodgers Friday at Maryvale Baseball Park in Phoenix.

Carlos Gomez committed an error on a routine fly ball to open the second inning, and by the time the frame ended, the Dodgers had put across five runs. Milwaukee didn't get a hit until the seventh inning.

The Brewers host the Rangers Saturday at Maryvale Baseball Park at 2:05 Central Time. After the time change Sunday morning, spring training games will begin at 3:05 Central Time.
