Meet CBS 58’s Pet of the Week: Sophie
MLWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Brewers reunited with some VIP fans on Tuesday, Aug. 26.
Back in February, Aurora Health Care brought three pediatric patients to a VIP Spring Training trip. Now known as the "Aurora All Stars," the three fans took the field and practiced their whiffle ball swing with some pointers from a surprise guest, Sal Frelick, who claims the reunion benefits everyone involved.
"Just seeing the smiles on all of their faces means everything," said Frelick. "Even just be someone for them to look up to is super awesome for me because I remember when I was a kid having people to look up to especially athletes now I get pt be in that spot and it is awesome."
The "Aurora All Stars" also were offered tickets to Tuesday night's game where the Brewers take on the Arizona Diamondbacks.
