The Milwaukee Brewers signed first round pick Keston Hiura this afternoon. Hiura was the ninth overall pick in the 2017 draft. The second baseman led the nation with a .442 batting average at the University of California, Irvine.
Hiura had a .567 on-base percentage with 8 home runs and 42 RBIs in 56 games. He took batting practice today at Miller Park before the Brewers game against the Pirates.
