The Brewers’ Ryan Braun continued his tradition of reaching out to his youngest fans and encouraging them to read.
He helped celebrate with the kids at Sharp Literacy who are finishing up an eight week summer reading program.
Braun says he believes reading is the key to success and he doesn’t want the kids to slip during the summer.
“My daughter and son they’re a little too young to understand what’s going on here. We share a lot of the same messages about finding things you’re interested in that inspire you and just try to stay active,” says Braun.
Reading can be fun, so that’s why they had games and ice cream and the kids paled around, with the famous racing sausages.
