Brewers release autograph scheduled for Brewers On Deck

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The autograph schedule for Brewers On Deck has been announced. The event, which will take place on Sunday, January 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Wisconsin Center in downtown Milwaukee, will feature appearances from over 40 players, including the Crew’s newest member, Yasmani Grandal. In addition, over 30 coaches, alumni, broadcasters and executives are scheduled to participate.

Tickets are sold out. There are numerous scheduled activities for fans of all ages including game shows and Q&A sessions on the main stage, batting and pitching clinics for kids, a roundtable discussion with members of the Milwaukee media, a Brewers Community Foundation live auction and 50/50 raffle and photo sessions with players, coaches and alumni.

The Brewers Team Store will have a full setup with the latest team merchandise for sale, and a museum will feature memorable artifacts from throughout Brewers’ history, including many items from the team’s historic 2018 season.

In addition to the players listed above, several Brewers alumni will be available for autographs at the interactive stage from 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. A single charge of $25 will allow fans to get autographs from the entire group. Manager Craig Counsell and his coaching staff will be available for autographs free of charge at the interactive stage from 2:15 – 3:00 p.m.

Players and select coaches/alumni will each sign up to 250 autographs, ranging from free of charge to $25. Proceeds go to Brewers Community Foundation. All autographs will be first come, first served and limited to the first 250 fans in each line. Autograph opportunities are for signatures on photo cards provided by the team. The Brewers cannot guarantee that players will sign other memorabilia.


MAIN STAGE SCHEDULE


The main stage includes game shows and Q&A sessions with coaches and the Brewers’ top baseball executives. The schedule is as follows (subject to change):

10:15 a.m. – Welcome/Introduction – Chief Operating Officer Rick Schlesinger and Public Address Announcer Robb Edwards will welcome fans to Brewers On Deck.

11:00 a.m. – Brewers Besties – New for 2019, three teams of three players/broadcasters compete to see who are the Brewers’ best of friends. First, two contestants on each team compete to see who knows their partner best, and then the three remaining duos face off to see who gets crowned the ultimate “Brewers Besties”.

12:30 p.m. – Meet the Management – Chairman and Principal Owner Mark Attanasio, General Manager David Stearns, Vice President and Assistant General Manager Matt Arnold, Brewers’ broadcasters Brian Anderson, Bill Schroeder, Matt Lepay and Craig Coshun and the majority of the major-league coaching staff will answer fans’ questions.

2:00 p.m. – Brewers Game Night – Also new for this year, players pair up in three teams in a competition featuring three rounds of some of the most popular game shows – Charades, Heads Up! and Pictionary.

3:30 p.m. – Brewers Face Off – Members of the 2019 and 1982 Crews compete in a game show similar to Family Feud.
