Brewers hit two homers but lose to Braves

ATLANTA - Khris Davis and Ryan Braun homered in a losing cause Monday night in Atlanta, a 9-3 loss to the Braves in the opener of a four-game series in Atlanta.

Wei-Chung Wang entered in the eighth inning of a 4-3 game and allowed five runs in two-thirds of an inning. Lyle Overbay entered to pitch and recorded the last out of the inning.

Davis nearly robbed Freddie Freeman of a third inning home run, then smacked a two-run shot in the fifth inning to put the Brewers within a run.
