Brewers Baseball Academy camp dates announced

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Brewers are announcing the dates and details for the seventh annual Brewers Baseball Academy presented by Kwik Trip, including 16 separate weeklong baseball and softball camps that will be held in various cities across Wisconsin this summer.

The instructional camps are available for kids ages 6-14 and will be conducted under the supervision of Tim Rappé, executive director of the Brewers Baseball Academy. Last summer, over 1,100 kids participated in the camps.

Each camp runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes instruction from experienced youth coaches. On one of the five camp days, participants are transported by bus to Miller Park for a one-of-a-kind training session featuring a guest appearance from a Brewers player and a behind-the-scenes tour with a Brewers coach. Campers will also have their photos taken at Miller Park.

All campers will take part in either baseball or softball skills competitions. Upon completion of the last camp, the top scorers in each age group will be invited to compete in Champions Day at Miller Park.

The registration fee is $395 per child for the weeklong camp, which includes 30 hours of instruction, a Major League-quality Brewers uniform, a V.I.P. day at the ballpark and four free tickets to one of three select 2019 Brewers regular-season home games.

Registration for the Brewers Baseball Academy is available now at brewers.com/camps. For those registering two or more children together, each child will receive a $25 discount. Note that a limited number of spots are available for each camp location.

As the presenting sponsor of the Brewers Baseball Academy, Kwik Trip will award 240 random participants with $25 gift cards to their locations. In addition, one lucky camper from each host city will receive a personalized camp jersey along with a special presentation during the camp graduation ceremony.

Complete details regarding the Brewers Baseball Academy and registration as well as a full list of this summer’s camp dates and locations are available at brewers.com/camps.
