Breast Cancer Survivors Gather to Encourage Others to Take Part in Breast Cancer Walk

MILWAUKEE - The American Cancer Society estimates 253 thousand women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. But, there is an event coming up that could help them fight it.

The 22nd annual "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk" is this May. Today, more than 400 breast cancer survivors gathered at the Pfister to tell their story and encourage people to take part in the walk. 

"Becoming a part of our event, the making strides walk you really are impacting the lives of people who've been diagnosed with breast cancer. So you're helping fund patient programs and services, you're helping fund breasts cancer research that's critical to our life-saving mission," 
 

The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk is May 6th.
