Braun sets homer mark as Brewers beat Marlins

Milwaukee -

Ryan Braun broke the Brewers franchise record for home runs in a career, hitting his 252nd in the Brewers' 8-7 win over the Miami Marlins Wednesday afternoon at Miller Park.

Braun drove a pitch from former teammate Chris Narveson over the right center field wall to break a tie with Robin Yount atop the franchise's all time home run leaders list. Yount hit 251 in 20 seasons as a Brewer.

Khris Davis hit two home runs for the Brewers, who took the series finale after dropping the first two games to Miami in the early-week series. The team is off Thursday.
