It's been a rough week for people in Burlington affected by the rain and flooding but they're about to get a little bit of help.
There's nothing but positive attitudes out here organizing a big bottled water donation for those people without running water.
Plenty of people drove to the Petit Center on Friday for the Bottles for Burlington water drive. Duff McElligutt was one of them, "This is easy, convenient. This is the Midwest, this is how people are."
Organizers put the event together quickly after seeing so many people in Burlington washed out earlier this week, "Just the team effort, everybody playing a role, and knowing that you can make a difference," said Hannah Kultgen.
"I know it's cliche to say we have the most generous people in the area, but we do," said Dave Michaels.
The Bottles for Burlington water drive goes until 6 PM Friday evening.
After that this water is on its way to Burlington where the Racine County Sheriff's Office will help distribute it.
